The legend goes that Zeus took the form of a swan and seduced Leda, who gave birth to Helen of Troy and Castor and Pollux, the Gemini twins. This set of feminine armor was built in two main sections; The chest piece which buckles to the back, and then a corset piece that goes all the way around the midsection, balancing stability with mobility. Each section is hand sewn together, all the detail is hand carved, depicting twin swans and twin angels, and silver leaf star designs.
